Presentation
- a tutorial session explains the essential basics
- help and advice is given on how to work more effectively with public relations and marketing departments and agencies
- recommendations on what to put in press releases so that they stand the greatest chance of being picked up by a journalist
Message development
- a message development workshop teaches delegates a three-stage proven methodology for identifying and defining their messages
- the day is highly interactive, with exercises and individual coaching as required
Role-play interview
- a role-play interview session gives a feel for what it is really like to be interviewed by a journalist, along with hints and tips on what you should say and what you should never do: the objective is to see how effectively trainees have learned their messages and the techniques for getting them across, while at the same time responding to journalists' questions
- the whole day is off-the-record, and trainees are encouraged to express their concerns and anxieties
